Hey there,
I’m Andrew. I’m an illustrator (and painter) based in Northern Ontario. Some storyboard artists have sort of a “Mary Worth” style, others have a loosey-goosey gestural style. Each have their place. Me, I have a different approach altogether. 20 years of experience in TV/commercial production has taught me a lot.
Rather than piling on detail, I try to focus on what is important to the story. It helps to keep agencies and clients from getting hung up on the extraneous. The directors and production companies I’ve worked with continue to remark on how it makes the process easier and keeps everyone’s attention on what matters
